| Important information | Meeting point: Salerno Maritime Station, Molo Manfredi. Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. The driver will wait at the location specified in the confirmation and hold an Amalfi Coast Lovers or Vista Travel Signature sign. Cruise passengers must provide the ship name and the latest required return time. A mobile telephone number that can be reached during the day is also required. Food allergies, intolerances, vegetarian menu requests and child-seat requirements must be communicated during booking. The order of the visits may change according to admission times, traffic, weather conditions and operational requirements. Access to the Gran Cono is subject to safety conditions and instructions issued by the relevant authorities. If access is closed, an alternative programme compatible with the available schedule will be proposed whenever possible. |

An excursion from Salerno that combines Pompeii, the Great Cone of Mount Vesuvius, and—depending on the ticket selected—a food and wine experience at a Vesuvius-area winery.
When booking, you can choose from three ticket types: Standard Rate (without lunch), Medium Rate (includes a classic tasting and lunch), or Superior Rate (includes a premium tasting and lunch).
Main Itinerary
- Salerno Maritime Station: Meet your driver at the cruise terminal and depart in an air-conditioned vehicle.
- Pompeii Archaeological Park: A tour of approximately 2 hours with a licensed archaeological guide. Depending on daily access, the route may include the Forum, thermal baths, shops, private homes, theaters, and other accessible structures.
- Vesuvius National Park: Access to the "Great Cone" (Gran Cono) trail, accompanied by local volcanological guides. The path offers views of the crater and—visibility permitting—the Bay of Naples. (Access is subject to ticket availability and weather conditions; should it be impossible to visit, we will visit the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum instead.)
- Return to Salerno: Transfer back to the Maritime Station or your original pickup point.

- Superior Rate – Superior Tasting included: includes a guided tour of the winery, a tasting of Lacryma Christi Superiore del Vesuvio wines, and a traditional 3-course lunch. Public price for this experience: €60.00 per person

The main difference between the Classic Tasting and the Superior Tasting lies in the quality and selection of the wines. Lacryma Christi Superiore wines are made from specially selected grapes, have a higher alcohol content, and undergo a longer aging process.
Non-private tasting experiences
The winery tour and tasting may be shared with other guests arriving at the same time. Large groups are not organized; instead, participants are grouped into small parties based on their arrival times.

The route on Mount Vesuvius includes uphill sections and uneven volcanic terrain. Appropriate footwear and a good level of physical fitness for walking are required.
Access to the "Gran Cono" (main crater) is subject to safety conditions and the directives of the relevant authorities. In the event of a closure, an alternative itinerary compatible with the day's schedule will be arranged.
