Discover the aromas, flavors, and traditions of Vesuvius with a food and wine experience at Cantina del Vesuvio, a winery located in Trecase, on the slopes of the volcano and a few kilometers from Pompeii.
The vineyards are cultivated on the fertile volcanic soils of Vesuvius, where the Lacryma Christi DOC organic wines are born. Select the most suitable ticket and enjoy one of the four available experiences.
1. Classic Tasting with Lunch - approximately 2 hours
Guided tour of the vineyard and winery, typical Campanian lunch, and tasting of Lacryma Christi DOC Classici organic wines. The visit is not private and can be shared with other guests arriving at the same time. The experience is organized in small groups.
2. Superior Tasting with Lunch - approximately 2 hours
Guided tour, traditional lunch, and tasting of Lacryma Christi Superiore wines. These wines are made from select grapes, have a higher alcohol content, and require a longer aging period. This experience can also be shared with other visitors.
3. Ester's Kitchen: Cooking Class, Lunch, and Tasting - approximately 3.5/4 hours
A hands-on experience that begins in the organic garden, where the ingredients are selected. With Ester's guidance, guests prepare traditional Campania recipes and taste their creations, accompanied by four Lacryma Christi DOC wines. Available for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of approximately 20 participants. Experience upon request and subject to limited availability.
4. Private Lunch at the Winemaker's House - approximately 2 hours
A completely private experience that includes a welcome with Spumante Rosé, a private vineyard tour with Ester, a sommelier and member of the winemaking family, lunch in the villa adjacent to the vineyard, and a tasting of organic Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOP Superiore wines. Available for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of approximately 20 guests.

Important: The offer includes only the selected experience at the winery. Transfers, pick-up, and drop-off are not included.

1st Non-private experience - Duration: approximately 2 hours
The tour includes a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar, followed by a traditional lunch with a tasting of organic Vesuvio Lacryma Christi DOC wines.
- Welcome with Spumante Rosé Extra Dry "Capafresca";
- Tasting of extra virgin olive oil and DOP red wine vinegar dressing;
- Appetizer with local salami, capocollo, provolone, ricotta, casatiello, grilled eggplant, carrots, and bruschetta with Piennolo cherry tomatoes on wood-fired bread;
- Pairing with Lacryma Christi DOC Classico Bianco and Classico Rosso;
- Spaghetti with Piennolo cherry tomatoes and basil, paired with Lacryma Christi DOC Riserva Rosso;
- Neapolitan pastiera, accompanied by Passito Bianco IGT, grappa, or apricot liqueur.
The tour includes a tasting of five wines. Vegetarian and vegan options are available and must be requested when booking.

The Superior itinerary includes a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar, a traditional lunch, and a tasting of Lacryma Christi Superiore wines, produced with selected grapes, characterized by greater structure and longer aging.
